Guarantee

I am looking for a guarantee. Because of various health reasons I want to be guaranteed of perfect health. The many conflicting opinions on health and healthcare leave me wanting in this area. Studies are done and percentages used but there is no guarantee. When I take my car in to repair it I have a written guarantee for parts of labor. Why can't the medical community offer a guarantee. I mean say I am ill and a proposed treatment doesn't work. I still have to pay for this treatment and then pay for the next treatment. It appears like russian roulette at times. I had a cold recently and the doctor prescribed penicillin and said 'this should work,' and then this had better work. Imagine going to repair your car and they say 'this should work,' and then you drive away and your engine falls out. There I can get my money back and have them to it again. With my health I cannot do this. Doctors get paid routinely for diagnoses and prescriptions that do not work. Where is the guarantee. We cannot continue to have medicine practiced upon innocent citizens. If they are still practicing then we're in big trouble. A doctor should not be allowed to practice until he gets it perfect and then can offer me a guarantee. My thoughts today on the sad sad state of medicine.
