general cancer related check-ups are recommended every 3 years for men and women aged 20 - 39. This should include examination for cancers of the thyroid, testicles, ovaries, lymph nodes, oral cavity, and skin. Counseling should cover tobacco usage, sun exposure, diet, risk factors, sexual practices, and environmental & occupational exposure
