This review from Consumerlabs.com found that 6 out of 14 supplements tested failed their quality control standards. Three St. John's Wort supplements were found to be contaminated, one offered less than one-quarter of the standard dose, and two others didn't disclose what part of the herb the products contained (an FDA labeling requirement).
