Artificial Sweeteners Decrease Weight, Body Fat, and Blood Pressure

?> This study looked at 41 overweight men and women, and divided them into two groups. One group drank regular beverages (containing sucrose; the sucrose supplement group) and the other drank beverages containing artificial (zero calorie) sweeteners (the artificial sweetener supplement group). Those in the artificial sweetener supplement group after 10 weeks had a lower body weight, lower body fat, and a lower blood pressure compared to the sucrose group.
